The Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW) and the Danish Family Planning Association (DFPA) have come together to form the Women & Earth Initiative (WORTH Initiative).
ARROW and the DFPA are long-time partners working together on programmatic and global advocacy level. The partnership has throughout the past decade yielded great results benefiting thousands of women in the Asian-Pacific region. Additionally, ARROW and DFPA have been working with the nexus between climate change and SRHR, ultimately leading to the creation of WORTH Initiative.
We believe that the people who are living with the consequence of climate change and unfulfilled SRHR every day are the ones most capable of identifying and developing the most sustainable and necessary solutions. With WORTH Initiative we can help give civil society the tools, skills, support and resources to do this.
ARROW and DFPA come together as the Steering Committee that runs the WORTH Initiative with support from our Advisory Board.
The WORTH Initiative Advisory Board is comprised of esteemed environmental sustainability, climate change, SRHR, gender and civil society professionals. The Advisory Board support the Initiative and provide counseling and technical input to the WORTH team and the WORTH participants.
