ARROW recognises the importance of forging genuine and equal partnerships with NGOs that share common goals, objectives and strategies to enable NGOs from the region to present a united and stronger voice in order to influence women’s health and rights in the regional and international arena. These NGOs are also committed to ICPD and Beijing implementation of women’s health and rights, particularly sexual and reproductive health and rights. Most of these partners have either participated or collaborated in ARROW’s activities or projects.

ARROW’s work in the Philippines involves the International Conference of Population and Development (ICPD) + 15 Project. ARROW has two project partners in the Philippines – Likhaan and Reprocen. Likhaan has researched and is advocating the removing barriers to critical reproductive health services that avert maternal death and disability in the Philippines while Reprocen has studied the contraceptive behaviours of Filipino youth in Metro Manila and advocate for access to contraceptives for adolescents in the Philippines.

ARROW has also worked in the Philippines to monitor the implementation of the ICPD PoA at both the +5 and the +10 anniversaries.
