ARROW recognises the importance of forging genuine and equal partnerships with NGOs that share common goals, objectives and strategies to enable NGOs from the region to present a united and stronger voice in order to influence women’s health and rights in the regional and international arena. These NGOs are also committed to ICPD and Beijing implementation of women’s health and rights, particularly sexual and reproductive health and rights. Most of these partners have either participated or collaborated in ARROW’s activities or projects.

ARROW’s work in China involves both the International Conference of Population and Development (ICPD) + 15 Project and the Women’s Health and Rights Advocacy Partnership China (WHRAP- China)- Project.

In the ICPD + 15 project, ARROW’s partners – the Peking University Women's Legal Aid Centre, Hei Longjang Women's Federation and Shanghai Women's Health Institute have all chosen to concentrate on the issue of migrant women and the provision of government health insurance (with especial regard to accessing sexual and reproductive health services) in these 3 different areas of China.

In the WHRAP-China project, ARROW’s partners are also the Peking University Women's Legal Aid Centre, Hei Longjang Women's Federation and Shanghai Women's Health Institute. The WHRAP-China project focuses on strengthening civil society capacity to effectively advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), at the local, national and regional levels.

ARROW has also worked in China to monitor the implementation of the ICPD PoA at both the +5 and the +10 anniversaries.
