ARROWs for Change (AFC) is our flagship, peer-reviewed bulletin that aims to contribute Asian-Pacific, global South, rights-based and gender perspectives to global discourses on emerging and persistent issues related to health, sexuality and rights. Through the thematic bulletin, we also explore the inter-linkages between SRHR issues and other development issues. AFC aims to be a cutting-edge resource and an advocacy tool, and is intended primarily for Asian-Pacific and global decision-makers in women’s rights, health, population and sexual and reproductive health and rights organisations. Begun in 1995, the bulletin is currently produced twice yearly in English, and translated to strategic languages several times a year. It has a circulation of about 8,000 in 120 countries globally.
Each issue of AFC includes:

Editorial/Lead Article – an overview and gender-sensitive and rights-based analysis on the theme

Spotlight – articles focusing on inspiring experiences and examples of change in action on current policies and programmes, on cases of innovative research, as well as on further analysis of an aspect of the theme

Monitoring – a sharing of information about efforts in different Asia-Pacific countries, particularly those relating to women and health
