Arrows For Change Bulletin 

ARROWs For Change (AFC) is ARROW’s 12 page bulletin that aims to provide clear women, gender and rights-based perspectives on significant sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) issues concerning women in the Asia-Pacific region. Key issues that have been explored include: sexuality, impact of religious fundamentalisms on SRHR, SRHR in conflict, situations, access to abortion, SRHR funding, impact of health sector reforms on SRHR and many more. Research and Monitoring Reports and Publications 

ARROW’s research publications are cover countries that ARROW has worked or is working in. These publications are used as information and advocacy tools as they contain status reports of the state of the country and/or the region concerning women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

Other publications 

Surfacing offers papers that came out of a 2007 ARROW symposium on the impact of religious fundamentalisms on Asia-Pacific women's sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) with writers from the region problematising and articulating the varied impact of Catholic, Hindu and Islamic fundamentalisms on SRHR, and begin the discussion on strategies for addressing these obstacles.

Information Packages 

ARROW’s information packages provide collections of published and unpublished key articles on specific and critical themes such as ‘Towards Women-Centred Reproductive Health Information’ (1994) and ‘Gender and Women’s Health’ (1997). Each package contains a series of booklets covering conceptual frameworks, ideas for action and an annotated bibliography. 

Framework of Indicators for Action on Women’s Health Needs and Rights after Beijing 

ARROW’s ‘Framework of Indicators’ was developed as a tool for all government, non-government and international organisations to use in monitoring implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action(POA) and presents selected Beijing recommendations on women’s SRHR, which are then operationalised into quantitive and qualitative indicators.

Annotated Bibliography 

‘Reappraising Population Policies and Family-planning Programmes’ (1994) is ARROW’s key annotated bibliography is a comprehensive collection of 183 abstracts from published and unpublished materials written by women activists, health researchers and demographers, and was published after the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in Cairo.  

Resource Kit 

The ‘Women-centred and gender-sensitive experiences: Changing our perspectives, policies and programmes on women’s health in Asia and the Pacific’ is ARROW’s resource kit (1996) which provides guidelines and practical tools on how to apply women-centred and gender-sensitive approaches to health policies and programmes.
