 (Rachel) Programme Officer, (WHRAP South East Asia Project Rachel Arinii Judhistari joined ARROW as Programme Officer for WHRAP-South East Asia in May 2010. Previously, she worked with Indonesian Red Cross as the youngest national progamme officer on HIV/AIDS, Gender and Humanitarian; and served as Youth Advisory Panel for United Nations Population Funds. At the age of 19, Rachel established Independent Youth Alliance (Aliansi Remaja Independen)—the only youth-led organization which focused on sexual and reproductive health and rights in Indonesia, the alliance works to promote the rights of marginalized young people. She has initiated and currently leads the Bali Youth Force, which enables young people from Asia and Pacific to participate meaningfully in the International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific. She’s been appointed as Asia and the Pacific Regional Focal Point for Global Youth Coalition on AIDS, a youth-led global organization on HIV/AIDS. Rachel has a degree in Psychology, finishing as valedictorian from Universitas Indonesia. Rachel enjoys roller coaster rides, snorkeling, and karaoke.
