Programme Officer, WHRAP South Asia project Biplabi joined ARROW in April, 2009. She holds Masters Degree in English literature from Tribhuvan University in Nepal. She comes with an experience of working in the area of HIV and AIDS in both local and national level in Nepal. She has coordinated various projects in relation to the advocacy of preventing young people from HIV, ensuring the rights of people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS and helping both the groups improve their SRHR. In relation to the same, she has also conducted numbers of trainings on the various issues around HIV including gender and HIV, other STIs and SRHR to different groups of people from government people in the ministry level to different groups in civil society. Apart from that, she has also played significant roles in developing various BCC materials including training manuals. Biplabi believes that every individual is different and therefore special in her/himself and that everyone should be treated equal. She loves working with young people and sees them as a major agent of change. She likes to spend her free of work time listening to music, watching movies or visiting new places.
