Dr. Pim has been a director, a director and a consultant on various sexual and reproductive health and rights issues.
She has researched and published numerous publications on sexual health, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and women’s rights. Some of her publications are; ‘Reframing Women’s Health’, ‘Involuntary Infertility and Childnessness in resource-poor Countries’, ‘Women Workers’ Right and Gender Equity: Easy Step for Organizational Staff’ and ‘Sexual and Reproductive Health for Youth in Asia Pacific: A Policy Analysis’.
She earned her BA in Sociology from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 1987 and went on to work on her MA in Medical Sociology and her Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology.
She is presently an Advisory Committee member for The Southeast Asian Consortium on Gender, Sexuality, and Health (SEA Consortium) of which she is also a core member and is current research interests are Gender, HIV/AIDS, Sexuality, Gender-sensitive healthcare for women and Gender-based violence and trafficking.
